The Mission or corporate purpose of the Colombian Safety Council is
to offer technical and scientific support to the productive apparatus
of the countries and regions where it lends its services, to contribute
to the preservation of the hard-working population's health, the atmosphere
and in general the productive resources and with it, to the continuous
improvement of the productivity; through activities of diffusion of information,
technical support, normalization, certification and specialised education for the
control of risks, contemplated inside the Integral Safety, the Occupational Health,
Occupational hazards and the Environmental Protection.
For the development of their corporate purpose the Colombian Safety Council
promote investigative and technical activities, as well as to collaborate with the government
for the development of their objectives in these fields.
Our products, services and activities respond to parameters recognized in the national and
international industries.
Vision
In the year 2010 the National Safety Council will be recognized as a technical and scientific
Association, within the industry and professional people that it will have contributed to the development
of the Prevention of Risks in the Work, the Integral Security and the Environmental Administration,
as much to National level as inside the Andean Community of Nations (CAN), Center-America and the Caribbean;
thanks to its highly specialized services in: scientific and technological investigation, education,
training, diffusion of information, technical normalization and certification of the development management
in these areas.
The quality of its management, based on the best development in their internal and external human resource,
the same as for their permanent technological upgrade, will be guarantee for the governments and the third
interested parties in verifying the managerial acting, in these unavoidable requirements of all modern
competitive strategy.
The total quality, the service to the client, the focus to the market, the profitability; and the
commitment and team work will have been fundamental pillars of its positioning.
